Springtime Events and Projects at the Mission!
This spring, many exciting events and projects are underway! Even though there were a lot of challenges in the last three years, God is in our midst, working for our good and the good of the people we serve. Many blessings encourage us to carry on and continue expanding on what the Mission has to offer our guests. Through the support of our friends, we have been able to continually serve men, women and children who are living in poverty, without a home, or facing a crisis/loss.
Events coming up are:
Easter baskets that will be given out to the children staying and adult guests Women’s Division and Men’s Division.
Resurrection Service on Sunday, April 17 where the men and women enjoy a visiting minister who will share the Gospel.
Projects completed are:
Updated security system has been completed with 2 main entrance doors replaced at the Mission building as well as at the Client Services Center.
Touchless water fountains have been installed in all three buildings. Thanks to Northern Ohio Golf Charities and the Women’s Auxiliary!
One commercial grade washing machine has replaced an old one in the Client Services Building. Thanks to a generous contribution from Fairlawn Lutheran Church and Concordian Lutheran Ministries!
Projects underway are:
New carpeting will replace the old throughout the office area at the Mission Building. Thanks to the wonderful Women’s Auxiliary which exists since 1944 to raise additional funds for Mission needs!
New turf will replace the pebbles in the Harvest Home playground area for kids to be safer as they enjoy activities.
